They are all in school

My children are all in school full day now gosh I don't know what to do with myself sometimes I am going to be looking for a part time job while they are in school but right now I have been going through every room in my house one everyday to get them straightened out and organized first then I will be ready to start a job. My house got so cluttered through the summer from being so busy with the kids and swimming almost everyday and playing and doing different activities.

My oldest son is in 10th grade and he is playing JV football for the school he really likes and the coaches say he has alot of speed so that will be a good thing for him.

My middle one is in 3rd grade he is my pip he is so easy going most of time he has his moments, but he likes school still and he enjoys talking to everyone!

My little princess is in 1st grade she had a rough first day of school only because is was the first all day school day she came home exhausted she ended starting to fall asleep around 6 and I had to get her outside because I didn't want her falling asleep so early. She is doing good now she goes to bed by 8-8:15 and is a sleep in minutes.

I miss them all but Brooklynn was here 1/2 a day last year by herself so I miss my mommy and me time with her.

But I am getting alot done!!!!

Have a great day!!!

  1. Glad to hear you're better! My husbands aunt had the shingles recently and I heard it was very painful.

Wow, all kids are in school! Is this when mommy's finally get time to themselves? (and perhaps some sleep?) If so, I have 4 years to go, LOL. Is it hard to be away from them? Or does it get easier as they grow older? I am finding as my son learns new things that I want to be with him all the time.

  2. It gets alittle easier once alot of the milestones are done, I mean their are always milestones but it is just not as many like the first year. I have mixed emotions with the whole thing because you know we want them to grow up and be independant and learn as much as they can learn but on the other hand it is so nice having fun with them and spending time with them. We had such a great summer that it was hard with them going back to school because I am bored. I am trying to keep myself busy but you can only clean so much, and organize so much. I have been applying for part time jobs but i haven't heard anything back from anyone yet.

the sleep definitly gets easier once they are older but depending on your child you can still have a while with that. I know with my daughter she was the toughest she would go through the night after 6 months but then when she started climbing out of her crib and she had to go into the big girl bed well she was in and out of my room so many times the first night I had to put a gate up in her doorway so she wouldn't come out. Then she would call me over and over again. it last about a week but I couldn't give in and let her sleep with me even though I was exhausted because once they know or think they can sleep with you it will be never ending. My friend unfortunatly made that mistake and her daughter was 7 or 8 and still tried to come in her room at night. I have special family nights when I allow my kids to sleep in my room and we watch movies and hangout all night and you know they look forward to them and enjoy them. But every other night they are in their own bed.

I hope everything is still going great!!

    Have a great day!
